My Story.

In essence, floral design is in my blood. Growing up, my grandmother was a florist and entrepreneur who owned the cutest florist and gift shop in her hometown. My siblings, cousins, and I spent many days in her shop helping her with arrangements, putting away inventory, wrapping gifts, but mostly playing and only breaking a few things ;) She was, and still is, so gifted, and I never realized until after I started my business that she is where I get a large portion of my passion for floristry. My grandmother has told me many times that she is proud of me, and that alone fuels me to continue growing and working in this beautiful field ❤️

I began The Blush Rose in October of 2022, after having my daughter and transitioning out of a restaurant management position. I adored my vocation and fell in love with the hospitality industry, however I was unable to continue working full-time in that capacity after becoming a mother. I decided to jump into the world of floristry, and began my business as a flower delivery service in Anderson, South Carolina. That small service, which at the time I had no intention of expanding, has grown into an Event & Wedding floral design business, with a number of weddings and events completed across the state. And most exciting of all: I have recently begun opening my services to Corporate accounts and clients, offering total floral solutions to corporate spaces + hotels 🎉

With my background in hospitality, coupled with my passion for and work in the world of flowers, I can confidently say that customer care and satisfaction are of the utmost importance to me as I manage my business. So all that to say, I am right where I want to be: working with my hands, getting to work with such gorgeous flowers and botanicals, engaging my creative and artistic side, being challenged to work and think outside of the box every day, and best of all: meeting & connecting with beautiful people like you, while we work together to elevate your spaces and events through florals. 🌸
